We own a basset hound and left on an overnight trip. A friend offered to take our dog while we were gone. Our dog was with this friend less than 24 hours and was in close contact with their dog, who turns out was infested with fleas. So, our dog was now covered with fleas and as soon as my wife saw this we drove to a local store with the plan of purchasing Frontline or something similar. She bouught Sergeant's Evolve 21 because it advertised that it kills fleas in as little as 1 hour. Well, use being very dumb the next day we let our dog out to move freely in our house but then upon inspection found she was just as covered with fleas! I mean literally covered! My suspicion is that if any fleas died within an hour it was most likely just their time! Anyway, a day later and we are back off to buy Frontline. This product was a waste of time, money and a trip.
