Since we just began using this product, I can't really rave about how well it works, but I do support this approach to flea control. Because it works internally, our dog no longer has to wait before we can safely expose him to our cat without fear of chemical-caused neurological reactions (as can occur with some popular topical pest treatments/preventatives). We can also use this very product for both the dog and the cat, making ordering flea control a breeze. Our picky cat, surprisingly, enjoys the flavor and looks at the tablet as a treat, making administering Program much less stressful than any other product I've tried. After reading the product literature, it would seem this product would be better at preventing flea population development rather than quickly controlling or destroying a large existing infestation.
