Tick 12" Plush Dog Toy Review
Bought 10 of these on a whim as "Christmas gifts" for my 7 Greyhounds and 3 of their 'pals'. With 3 laundry baskets full of stuffed/plush toys, balls and frisbees in this house, these instantly became their favorites. Have to admit they are so 'real' looking, they might gross some people out, but the squeakers inside seem durable enough (they are still going strong whereas any new squeaking toy gets punctured within 3 minutes of being presented!). The 'legs' are all still intact as well as the 'bug eyes'. The small, red flannel teeth are sewn in very well, and the embroidery on the tummy (BITE ME) and back (TICK) are secure and strong. The brown body is a soft-to-the-touch material that doesn't shred or leave little fluff pieces all over the house. Only one has met it's demise and that was partly my fault: got to flinging it around the yard and all 7 hounds were playing 'keep-away' and the game got a bit, well, exuberant. (Poor little tick...)I found them in the sale section so didn't pay full price. Certainly am happy with this purchase as are my 'kids': these ticks end up in the yard, the bathroom, the beds, the crates...just about everywhere. They were so much fun I went back and bought them each one of the "fleas" from the same company...same can be said about those. You (oops), your pet won't be disappointed.
