Even after camping trips and the runs through the woods that they love to do when I take them by my parents farm, I have never had a flee or tick on either of the three. If you are not smart enough to call your vet instead of the number on the box in an emergency then you should avoid this product and all other products. In fact you should avoid owning pets period.
That being said I cannot say the same for when I used Frontline. My dogs would have ticks all the time and once in a while even a flea. Product leaves fur a little more oily than frontline but is much much better as this product repels and kills fleas, ticks and mequitos. Frontline only kills fleas and ticks (when it feels like it).
