My dog developed a severe allergy to fleas when he was staying with my friend in N.C. around the summer of 2004. I bought supplements and an expensive medical anti-itch shampoo from the vet, which cleared up my dog's dermatitis after a couple of months. Since the shampoo from the vet was expensive and I wanted to make it last for future flares, I went on a search for a new primary anti-itch shampoo. That is when I found Bio-Groom Natural Oatmeal shampoo. I'm not sure what went wrong with the negative reviewer as my 6 yrs. of experience with this product have been excellent. I found it to be a very gentle shampoo when my dog was experiencing dermatitis. And it did reduce his itching when the directions were followed.
