I remember back in the old days before these flea control products existed that I would line up my 3 or 4 cats to bathe them. It would take a few days for the scratches on my arms and back to heal, and by then, the fleas had already returned. Then came Advantage, and it took 2 or 3 months for the flea cycle to be broken, but I have never seen a flea in my house again.My cats are totally indoor cats and I understand that outdoor cats may need a more frequent application than once a month.
