I have grown tired of the highly perfumed shampoo and rinses. I don't like highly perfumed shampoos and rinses which must play havoc with my Papillon's sense of smell. It has to be overwhelming. I've never found a shampoo/rinse that have no sent, but at least this one smells like natural spices. In fact, it reminds me of Christmas: When I was a boy, Mom use to put clove and cinnamon into a pot of water on the stove and kept it just below a boil. The sent would fill the house like a ginger bread factory.This shampoo is amazing. Although I can't speak for its ability to kill fleas, (my dog seldom gets them) I am intrigued with its water-like properties. But don't let that fool you, it is every bit as effective as other shampoos and delivers lots of lather. It does have a characteristic that surpasses other shampoos; because it is so thin, it penetrates deeply in shorter time, taking less product and effort to give my dog a bath. Her fur comes out soft and shiny and for a couple days she reminds me of being young boy and back home for Christmas.
Hurray for Natural Chemistry! Regardless of memories of the past, I do wish they would make one with no sent, as it is impossible to tell whether the sent from the shampoo is overpowering to her.
