After i buckled the collar on my dog, all the parasites died within 24hours. The collar gave my dog total protection, even his kennel was protected and free of parasites. The effectiveness of this collar is estimated to last for 5 months. Give-and-take, i thougth that it could last for 3-4 months. But to my greatess surprise,i started noticing the return of ticks before a month elapsed.I put the belt on him on the 29th Dec,2010.Today is 17th Jan, 2011.The ticks are back -aggressively.The effectiveness has evidently worn off-within a month.Zodiac Tick Collar for Dogs, 5 Month Overview
