I bought this on sale, figuring it was worth a try since it was significantly cheaper than Advantage or Frontline. What I didn't realize until I went to apply it was that the dose you apply is MUCH larger in volume than those other brands...probably 3-4 times as much. With Advantage, the cats have a greasy spot on the back of their head for a couple of days. With this stuff, it is a huge patch, and it persisted for at least a week. Which meant it got on the furniture, rugs, etc. As far as I know, it worked OK to repel fleas (they didn't get any).
