Dr. Ben's Paws & Claws Treatment 16 Oz. Spray Review
I was looking for a natural way to help get rid of the fleas on my cats and through some internet research I found out about cedar oil. I found out there are actually quite a few cedar oil products, however, this one seemed to appeal to me and had some good reviews. Some of the appeal to this is that it is ready to spray on the pet so there was no need to do extra work.After spraying the cats down, I watched them over the next few days and they seemed to be scratching less and their coat was nice and shiny - which is a plus because some products dry out the cat's skin. I sprayed the places where the cats liked to hang out as well and it seems that the flea problem is gone now.
The one negative is that the cats did not seem to like the spray - I am not sure if it was the smell that bothered them or the feeling of being sprayed but they ran off immediately after being sprayed and jumped around licking themselves. Not only that, they seemed to avoid the bedding where I had sprayed for a few days haha.
Overall, it worked, the smell is pleasant to me - like having a tree in the house. I also can use it as a pesticide against other bugs - I sprayed areas where I have found silverfish - so another plus! :)
