I used this product in tandem with the prevention Squeeze-on for cats by this same manufacturer. I followed the directions, and followed with a thorough flea-combing. After 24 hours, I did still have live fleas on one of my cats (the other I couldn't catch) but by 36 hours, they are both flea-free. My husband and I noticed that the skin on our hands was very sensitive afterwards, and my cat was avoiding touch for about 24 hours, so my advice would be to rinse, rinse, rinse and when you think you've rinsed enough, rinse some more! The scent was mild and their fur really is gleaming now.
