Miracle Coat Cat Flea Comb Review

Our kittens are now 4 months old and have now started their very own flea family, despite the use of Frontline ointment and constant combing. When they were much younger, we purchased the only cat flea comb that was available around here, a plastic handled comb with plastic teeth, however, although the teeth were close together, the plastic would bend, often not picking up the fleas, or simply allowing them to escape.
Investing in a metal tooth flea comb is by far the best route. This comb has a lovely rubber grip, it feels firm and comfortable in your hand and seems to pick up fleas without even trying.
My only minor gripe about it is that the fleas seem to become 'stuck' near the stop of the brush where the rubber meets the bristles and it can be quite hard to get dirt and fleas out from there. I suppose that this is where an old paintbrush or toothbrush may come in handy.
Also, the teeth could even be slightly closer together than they are now, although they are pretty snug and they get the job done.
Overall, I highly recommend this comb and yes, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. After one combing session, our kitties are practically flea free.

In addition, somehow my husband and I both ended up buying flea combs at the same time. I purchased this one, whilst my husband happened to buy the MiracleCoat Flea Comb. It turns out that the two are exactly the same. I had spent quite some time agonising over which comb to get and eventually chose this item because it specifically said it was for cats.
I would advise however to purchase whichever one is cheaper, as the only visible difference is that Model No 3296 has an image of a cat on it, whilst Model No 3285 as an image of a dog on it.
Since both Model No 3296 and Model No 3285 are otherwise in fact, identical, I am therefore not entirely sure why the following product information differs between the two :
